Purple Thai is a classic sativa experience. It’s a potent sativa strain known for its energizing, uplifting, and creative effects. The high itself is relatively mild, but the focused and enhancing effects are quite strong, making it ideal for those seeking mental clarity and inspiration. Perfect for the mornings and throughout the day. Experienced users will appreciate the strain’s ability to boost focus and creativity.
In its natural habitat, it can grow up to 4 metres tall (in good soil) showing slender leaves and long, conical flowers with prominent, white/purple hairs. One phenotype of Purple Thai exhibits a purple shimmer on its leaves and flowers, while another variant showcases purple hues primarily in the flowers.
Due to the relatively consistent amount of sunshine throughout the year in Thailand, the region sometimes allows for two harvests annually. However, the heavy monsoon rains can interfere, so most Purple Thai is planted during the summer months, from June through August, with the season running into December through Febriary for harvest.
Purple Thai is known for its powerful sativa effects, offering a psychedelic rush of happiness and a mind-opening experience. It’s perfect for creative activities, or recreational moments. It not only delivers euphoria but also clarity and focus. The buds of Purple Thai are of a dark purple, very dark, almost black (see pics in the gallery below). The strain’s THC content typically ranges from 15% to 20%, making it a moderate yet impactful choice for cannabis enthusiasts. Let’s say it’s strong enough to brighten up your day 🙂
