The plants start out fast, developing a strong stem. They form a columnar shape with upright branches, medium wide leaves of 7 to 9 leaflets. Beautiful fruity aromas are evident at an early age. These plants responded well to top pruning to develop multiple strong branches. They were grown indoors and kept in pots of 10 litre size to maintain small plants of 1 metre in height. They would easily grow larger if given more space. Flowering was initiated with a 12/12 lighting regime after 3 months and the flowering lasts at least 10 weeks and sometimes longer. During flowering there is some stretch but not excessive and there is a huge abundance of buds at every node.
The apical buds are particularly long, taking up at least the top third of the plants.The spacing is 2 to 5 cm. between nodes and the buds are compact with high calyx to leaf ratio. The leaves in the buds are completely covered with trichomes as are the calyxes. The trichomes are of the smaller type like those found on sativas. During flowering the large leaves become narrow and the plants develop distinctive aromas. Hard to describe, it is both sweet and sour, like honey and varnish. There is a certain delight to just smelling the plant!
In terms of effects, there is an immediate rush of expansive feelings upon lighting up. The smoke is smooth and not harsh. Energizing yet warmly relaxing at the same time. It is easy to be very busy and not notice the passage of time. There is a nice connection to the body and relief of aches and pains. A small amount lasts for hours and there is a gradual easing off of the effects and good appetite. There is no sense of tiredness as the effects release one, and yet sleep is very deep.
